A I formed as a group in the last 2 years, and grew up in South
London where they have been in the studio 24/7 creating a mix
tape that they are trying to release in early June. They are hoping to
change the style of UK Hip Hop with production from Mouseman, Para
Beats, DJ Vex, and Dean Anthony.

Two years ago Idea started spitting truth and thought provoking
hip hop, The town of Slough (West london) where he was brought up
currently has a small local rap scene. Idea started spitting and joined
lots of online forums to elevate his skills.

The Live8 concert in Hyde Park in July saw Ms Dynamite return to the stage after
a two-year absence. She had vanished from the public eye at the height of her
new-found fame. Her priorities had suddenly changed leading her to place her
music career on hold. She gave birth to her son, Shavaar, in July 2003.

Swansea’s very Hip-hop nowadays and here’s a big part of the reason why: DJ
Beattrix and emcees Mykes, Wes Cooze & Snow White – a deadly emcee who very
nearly won at the last Higher Learning battle (big up to the reigning champion
Louis). Fiercely independent and loyal to where they’re from; these guys (and a
girl) spit the raw uncut and do Hip-hop proud.

 That's right, there is probably only one release most
hip hop members can remember from these guys, but what they fail to
remember about the Blak Prophetz is that there is a long history both
before and after that joint dropped. In honour of them getting their
website up we thought we'd better have a couple of words and
chronologically take you through the main points in that history. Being
one of the original UK crews they point out that, "We have been around
since 1979”. |
