50 Cent and Akon to headline first Cyprus Music Festival |

Talent Quest offers you the chance to join the line-up!
Britishhiphop.co.uk is always one step ahead of the rest when it comes to
bringing you exclusive music news and features, but this time around we have a
big one! The count down to the Mediterranean’s first ever
International Music Festival: Medfest2007, has begun, and to
celebrate the arrival of Multi-Platinum stars 50 Cent and Akon on
the island.
Organisers in conjunction with London Greek Radio, are offering talented
acts the opportunity to audition for the Talent Quest and possibly win the
chance to perform in the same line-up as the stars, which will also feature
Julian Marley- plus many more to be announced.
The Festival takes place on Saturday 28th July at the GSP Stadium in
Nicosia, Cyprus. The festival is organised by AP Entertainment
and One Events, and is supported by the Cypriot Government and the
Cyprus tourism board.
If you think you’ve got the talent and the ability to rock a crowd like 50 Cent
and Akon, all you need to do to enter is download an application form from
www.medfest2007.com.
Send your completed form along with a demo CD and a recent picture of yourself,
to Medfest Talent Quest, PO Box 47683, London SE4 2UJ by Monday 25th June,
that’s the deadline guys- so get to it!
If you are selected to audition at one of the two heats you will be contacted by
email with relevant times, dates and venue details. Auditions will then take
place on Sunday 1st July and Sunday 8th July acts will perform at
each audition.
