Big Smoke MagazineThe new issue of the occasional Big Smoke Magazine is out now and is available from all major stockists including: Virgin, HMV, Borders, some record shops and some newsagents as well as being available now at www.bigsmokelive.com.

The magazine has long been a beacon of quality in a sea of published chip paper. Boasting a writing staff fuelled by ex ukhh.com writers, generally the only complaint about this periodical was its infrequency. The self styled Documentary Of Potential is now up to Issue 2, Volume 2 and only costs £3.50.

Big Smoke MagazineThe main artists covered in this issue are Roots Manuva from Big Dada and Mighty Mystro from Low Life Records. The bumper mag also features major names like: Raekwon (Wu-Tang), DJ Biznizz, Evil Ed, Keith Lawrence, Shortee Blitz and Verb T.

There is also coverage of upcoming and lesser known artists including: Ramson Badbonez, Broke‘N’English, YT, Bruza, Terror Danjah, Manny Norte (1Xtra), Ralph Rip Shit, Brigzy, Phoenix Quarter, Shifty Spirit, and Wan Cee as well as articles and features on European Hip-Hop and Phil Knott’s Brooklyn Fashion and loads more as well.

Well known artists who have picked up the pen and contributed for this issue include: Mr Penfold (Itch FM), Bandit (M.S.I.& Asylum), Metropolis (Foreign Beggars), Natty (Def Con), Disorda (Suspect Packages), DJ Excalibah (6Music / Tales of the Legend), Phil Knott and DJ Moneyshot.

Keep your diaries open for Sat 6th May when the Under Nourished 3 - 'Error Tape' launch party in conjunction with Big Smoke Magazine will take place at the Cafe Du Sport (main room), Reading (St Mary's Butts, opp Burger King).

Artists on the night include: Shameless (Dat Sound), Stylah (P.Poets), Mikey T / DJ Dixie, Lumes Flownes, Nine High and Wandan providing beatbox.
