Bottletop - Sound Affects: Brazil MP3 [Mr Bongo]Mr Bongo Records is offering you the chance to get your hands on these 2 amazing digital download-only tracks a few months before the release of the forthcoming Bottletop Sound Affects: Brazil album (MRBCD049), from which they are taken.

Following on from the success of Sound Affects: Africa, comes the next collaboration between Bottletop and Mr Bongo Records. Bottletop is one of the most forward thinking and exciting charities in the UK. No artist or remixer has been paid for their input on this project. It has been made with love and good will, in the knowledge that it will make a real difference to the children who need it most.

Tracklist:

01.Uruba no Telhado – Bazeado (MJ Cole remix)
02. Capoeira Love Affair –Mr Hermano (Tom Middleton remix)
The 2 original tracks are by Mr Bongo’s own favourite bands Bazeado and Mr Hermano. These have been brilliantly reworked by 2 of the best contemporary producers around today: MJ Cole and Tom Middleton.

MJ Cole exploded into the UK garage scene as the genre’s prodigy and primary innovator with his Mercury Prize nominated album ‘Sincere’ in 1999, which also won him the accolade of ‘Best Producer’ from the prestigious Muzik and Mobo magazine awards, and sold over 60,000 copies in the UK alone and spawned two outstanding Top 15 singles. Collaborations and remix work include Jill Scott, Tom Jones, Mariah Carey and Jocelyn Brown.

Tom Middleton is a classically trained pianist and cellist from the UK. He started Evolution Records with Mark ‘Troubleman’ Pritchard in 1991 and released LP's and 12"s as Jedi Knights and Secret Ingredients and Theory of Evolution LP on Warp. He has worked with Matt Herbert, Danny Breaks, Jak and Stepper to name but a few, and was signed to Island, then Polydor with his most successful hit "Take Me With You”. Tom is well known for his eclectic DJ sets around the world and hosts his own weekly Eclectic Radio show on Kiss 100.

Tracks available to buy individually at: www.clickgroove.com , www.junodownload.com , iTunes.
