 2005 was a great year for Genesis Elijah and Broken Souls which ended on a high thanks to all their fans! Genesis Elijah's 'Jah Bless' single was voted in at no.11 in the top 50 urban music tracks of 2005 at 1Xtra. Now this may seem like a great achievement but it was more than that when you consider that the shortlist included not only independent acts but all the major artists too. So we're happy that we were only beaten by the likes of 50 Cent, Damian Marley, Kanye West, Kano etc!!
The Broken Souls crew are about to start 2006 with a BANG with the release of Genesis Elijah's new mix-cd 'The Industrial Revolution'.
Set for release on 1st February 2006, this mix-cd will feature 20 brand new tracks, dubs and exclusives! The mix-cd features guest appearances from Wordsmith, Joker Starr, Sway and Tom Gist of Dipset.
For those of you who don't know about Genesis Elijah, mainly outside U.K. / Europe we assume, this mix-cd is an excellent introduction to of the finest Hip-Hop artists to come out of the U.K.
