Hiero Announces 2006 ReleasesHiero Imperium Records shows no sign of slowing down as it begins its 9th year of existence. The next few months will see releases from Hiero veterans Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Pep Love, and A Plus as well as newcomers Shake Da Mayor and Beeda Weeda.

First up, Hiero will be releasing a long-awaited DVD of material from founding member Del Tha Funkee Homosapien. The DVD, titled The 11th Hour, will give fans a rare glimpse inside the life and music of one of hip-hop's most creative figures with exclusive tour and day-in-the-life footage. "The DVD shows people what I'm really about. It's basically a reality show of my life during the recording of my new album; dealing with the personal drama, studying music theory, and being on the road", explains Del.

Del Tha Funkee HomosapienTwo more of Hiero's big guns have full-length albums slated for release in the coming months. A Plus will be releasing My Last Good Deed and Pep Love will drop his highly anticipated follow-up album to Ascension, entitled Reconstruction.

Following those releases, Shake da Mayor and Beeda Weeda, two of Central Cali's rising stars, also have new albums on the horizon. Souls of Mischief member Tajai will be releasing Shake's Fruit of His Own Thinking and Beeda's Turfology 101 on his imprint, Clear Label Records.

All of Hiero's projects will be distributed nationally thanks to a newly inked deal with Fontana Distribution, the nation's premier independent music distribution company. Domino, Hiero's CEO, feels the partnership, "Is a good fit for both of us because Fontana is based on the West Coast and they understand where we're coming from. They bring a lot of enthusiasm to the table".

Hiero Imperium Records is an artist owned and run label based in Oakland, California. Since it's inception in 1997 Hiero artists have sold over 1 million units.
