Ohmega Men struggle to raise funds for UK Tour |

 Ohmega Men are a collective of independent hip-hop musicians from Richmond VA that bring a fresh, raw, and riveting sound. In 2004, Ohmega Men released the album entitled “Mic Fight” under the moniker “Bomb Skwad” that included members BliSs, Ceaz and Ill Flow. Since, their presence has grown leading to headlining UK Tour for autumn 2006.
But, on any other day, involving almost any other band, this would be great news. This is not the case when it comes to the OhmegaMen. The problem is not the workload, or the travel, and is surely not a lack of equipment or solid material; it is exactly what plagues most unsigned talents in the music business in this day and age. It’s a lack of capital. The OhmegaMen are putting themselves out there via EBay, Craigslist, and Myspace.com. They are selling every inch of advertising space possible. The OhmegaMen are attempting to raise the money it is going to cost to make this trip. The OhmegaMen, unlike most musicians, are a business savvy group of exceptional emcees & producers who bring a positive, and often a humorous perspective to the average listener.
