 PeaceOUT UK is Europe’s only gay hip-hop festival, organised by the Pac-Man and gayhiphop.com crew (QBoy, Mistermaker, NineBob & Gideon). The first PeaceOUT UK was held during August 2005. It was an extension and part of past and on-going gay hip-hop festivals held in the USA. The first PeaceOUT event ever started in Oakland, California in 2002 and since it has spread over the different states and countries including successful PeaceOUT East festivals held in New York and of course, PeaceOUT UK.
Following the amazing success of last years initial groundbreaking event held in both London and Brighton, this year will see another jam packed live urban showcase featuring the hottest rappers, singers, poets and DJ ’s from the homo-hop scene plus we will be featuring new, up and coming talent. This years event is on Friday 20th October, starting at 9pm and will be held at the newly opened DiTch Bar in London’s trendy Shoreditch area. This beautifully furnished venue has two floors and top facilities for hosting live events. We do ask for people to arrive early so as not to miss any performances.

Although the event itself is a gay hip-hop festival, it is not exclusively for a gay audience. We wish to bring the urban talents of the LGBTQ community to the forefront and to display this to a wider appreciating audience. So whether you are gay, straight, bisexual, undecided, black, white, yellow male, female or transgender - all are welcome to event as the focus is on the music and the celebration of it.
