The cream of the UK’s beatboxing talent will be battling across the country throughout May in the hope of being crowned UK Beatbox Champion 2007. You and your voicebox will have to face up to a series of one to one ‘8 Mile’ style contests to take the title. The winner will have to defeat the reigning champion, Beardyman to drive away with ‘What Car’s’ car of the year - a brand spanking New, ‘Vauxhall Corsa SXi.
Eight regional heats will take place across the nation from May, the winners of which will be invited to compete in London’s Grand Final at Islington Carling Academy June 8th. The judges include some of the biggest names from the Beatboxing community including ‘Ty Te’ and ‘Shlomo’!
So get down to your closest heat and prove you’ve got the verbal dexterity to become The Vauxhall UK Beatbox Champion 2007.
