Art Of The State Blog - London

  • Street art my arse

Jimmy Cauty billboard hi-jack, Victoria Station

  • Cut Up Collective return

A welcome return by the Cut Up Collective to Kingsland Road

  • All rise

New work by Junkerade in Feltham, West London.

  • Cans update

To be found on a door opposite Banksy's hoodie piece in the Cans Festival tunnel (hence the reflection in the binoculars)

    Wise words....

The blue boards obscuring the Eine and Sam3 pieces are down so you can see them properly now.

  • Size matters

Sam3 has been busy around London after being at the Cans Festival. Its nice to see these clearly after his work at Cans was pretty much obscured by hoardings and bad lighting.

  • Going underground....

  • JR in town

Jr is in town and has completed a few new paste ups of his photographs. That sounds pretty simple but take a look at the scale and content and you'll see this is no ordinary poster run.

  • Thursday Nights will Never Be The Same Again

Looks like a fun packed evening:

  • Cans update

Although the Cans Festival has now finished theres still a load of the work left in the Leake Street tunnel under Waterloo - including some updated pieces. This used to say 'Hey Banksy Why Dont You Return My Emails'.

  • Still running, still drawing a crowd

It's well over a month since this piece was put up off Oxford Street. Going past the other day I took this picture which records a typical scene even now of several people taking pictures. I also took the opportunity to use a proper wide angle to take in the whole piece. Do you reckon the Royal Mail deliberatley started storing their bins right in front)?
