Hailing from Toronto, Canada Drake brings us the remix of his catchy track Best I Eva Had this time bringing Nicki Minaj along for the ride. Opening with a lush piano its not long before the ever popular auto tuner rears its vocally perfect head. However as Drake starts rhyming the track becomes a multi layered love beast with insistent drums fast enough to dance to but not too quick to detract from the romantic mood of the single. Just before we get too settled in Nicki drops her verse changing up the song once again. Nicki, who is singed to Lil’ Wayne's record label Young Money Entertainment and has worked with Bobby Valentino and Jadakiss, is a competent lyricist and more than holds her own against Drake. Overall Drake has managed to make the perfect smootcher of a single keeping everyone happy and still making us want to get up and dance.
