The LA based producer straddles the seemingly insurmountable musical divides, is impossible to pigeon hole and already has a diverse list of admirers including Prefuse 73, Madlib, the late great J Dilla, Gilles Peterson, Mary-Anne Hobbs, Benji B and the leaders of the UK underground Digital Mystikz.
These props come off the back the limited Plug Research release of his debut album, '1983'. Since then he's gone on to remix established artists Madvillain, Kelis, Mia Doi Todd, Dabrye / J Dilla which spread like viral wildfire across the online community.
As an aching natural, imaginative and prolific musician, traits you might expect when you consider his upbringing as part of the Coltrane family, these tracks thunder, wobble and squelch providing a glimpse of what he's capable of and a taster of what you can expect from his 2008 album on Warp.
