Tom Central and Kaitain - Akama 12Eclectic South London collective / label Keep Up faithfully continue their run of limited 7 inch releases. Tom Central and Kaitain’s ‘Akama’ is an up tempo Danny Breaks style dance floor murker built around a chopped drum loop, weaving wobbly bass and well timed snatches of wah.

Ave Blaste and Lopez handle the flip side and although a more restrained affair it’s impressively put together. Catch them doing their thing fortnightly at The White Horse, Brixton’s very own meat market / institution / playground for general reckless abandon and smashment. Don’t sleep!
