Versus is a proper bad boy. He’s been to maximum security and come out the other side. Whilst inside he had plenty of time to look deep inside himself and work out where he is going. Coming out of Delaware he is also known as Juggernaut and if his career progresses as well as he talks up his game in his tracks he is set for big things.

This is the third volume in the Gold Digging Series which previously covered Kanye West and Jay Z. This time round the attention is focussed on Tupac and this CD contains the full original tracks of some 20 songs which were sampled as the basis for some of Tupac’s biggest hits.

Face was once a key member of the So-Solid Crew, but after releasing a series of mixtapes and creating a new crew called the Black Piranhas he has got his own deal and is set to release music as a solo artist. Earlier ths year Tricky set up a new label with Chris Blackwell and they decided to take a punt on Face.

SamSun is a rapper who has been doing his thing for about two years now. He writes and produces his own material and has brought the best of his work together to form two four track CDs. The first CD, which we are going to look at, is the Bollocks To Politics. It is entirely self produced including, the beats, the rhymes and the production. |

SamSun has travelled across the country in his childhood and has now settled in East London, where he has hooked up with Mike Grimey his producer. Together they have produced this four track Omens EP which they are shopping around right now. |

These Kids are storming out the releases thick and fast. Since forming in 2002 in Nottingham, Andy and Matt started making beats together. What they produce is something like vintage NY over dubs and scratched up mixes in the fashion of those like Cold Cut. |

Zuby is a new kid who I’m not sure where he originally comes from but is now repping Oxford. Zuby (full name Nzube Udezue) grew up in Saudi Arabia where he went to an American school and began to develop artistically, both through drawing and musically by playing the piano. |
