These Kids are storming out the releases thick and fast. Since forming in 2002 in Nottingham, Andy and Matt started making beats together. What they produce is something like vintage NY over dubs and scratched up mixes in the fashion of those like Cold Cut. |

Zuby is a new kid who I’m not sure where he originally comes from but is now repping Oxford. Zuby (full name Nzube Udezue) grew up in Saudi Arabia where he went to an American school and began to develop artistically, both through drawing and musically by playing the piano. |

Kerfew was born and bred in Leicester and has been learning music since the age of 7 when he started to play the Tabla and Naal. Multi instrumented Kerfew also took up the trumpet and violin. He progress further in the music arena by linking with a pirate radio station where he rose from the ranks from taking calls, to doing the graveyard slot, through to getting on the primetime weekend shows. |

Black Grass also known as Mex returns from Brighton with his sophomore LP entitled A Hundred Days In One which follows on from his welcomed eponymous debut. Mex has been DJing for over 20 years now and lists great influences including the Wild Bunch, Good Times and Soul II Soul sound systems and great DJs such as Jazzy Jeff and Cash Money. |

When we told you about Serocee’s demo, we knew it wouldn’t be long before he got things together for a higher profile release. Originally from Birmingham Serocee spent his formative years in the Caribbean and is now based in London. Having hooked up with Karl Hinds and producer Darkjoint he is now being released on the Ill Flava label. |
