FM Crew’s single Girlz, taken from their forthcoming album City Island. The FM Crew’s original members, Profit and Screechi have worked on many projects in previous years and have recently teamed up with featured female vocalist Eyez, who brings an RnB element to the group’s sound. Their sound has been described as a vibrant blend of Hip-Hop, RnB and DanceHall vibes, but for me this release is pretty much straight light hearted Bashment / Ragga. |

Whilst you may have known that the Bugz In The Attic have been around for a while you may be surprised to hear that it is now 10 years! They have their Saga Centre studio based in Ladbroke Grove and have been staples around East London’s Sunday night Co-Op club. |

Over this time Travis’ work has matured and now he is offering up this 14 track album which delivers that gravitas you’d expect from a man of his talents.

N.Dubz are coming out of Camden and are apparently five releases deep on the LRC records label. The trio combine Hip Hop, soulful vocals and youthful energy and wit that by all reports has seen them compared to the BEP and has apparently got some major labels interested.

Visualise is from Archway, North London. After a stint in Acting school he became interested in MCing and back in his teens called himself MC Damage. However circumstances became tough as life on road took its toll on his friends. He fell in with the M.O.N. Stars a six MC and one DJ crew and used music to channel his energy.

Ben Spurr is the man behind SPR10. Amazingly he only decided to get on the mic and make this project ten months ago! His motivation being the fact that in the Hip Hop he listened to he felt he heard poor rhymes and could do better himself. What he has achieved is quite amazing, producing a heartfelt expression of his thoughts and feelings.

Hangout Records, est. 2005, is the brainchild of childhood friends and band mates, Elwin Maiden and Jeff Nixon.
