Assassin & Mopreme Shakur Presents… Black & Brown CD [LiferDef Records]West Coast and Tupac Shakur fans should take note of this new label compilation by The Bay’s Assassin and 2Pac’s brother Mopreme Shakur. Featuring a string of legendary emcees from the West such as Rappin 4Tay, Thuglife, Gonzoe, South Central Cartel, Snoop, Bizzy Bone and Assassin himself, ‘Black & Brown’ really impresses.

The production is as amazing as normal from The Bay’s number one Assassin, and some of the features really hit hard. ‘Have Heart Have Money’ was the first cut that stood out to me as 2pac, Mopreme Shakur, Big Syke, Macadoshis and Taje all kill the track hard. Other standout cuts include the pimpish ‘Lifestylez Plush’, the piano-led ‘Anotha Tyme’ and the banging ‘Mack Boy’. This album worth its weight in gold man, make sure you pick this up if you want that real West Coast gangster shizzle.
