Jahcoustix & Dubios Neighbourhood - Grounded CD [Modernsoul]Germany’s No.1 Reggae Newcomer Jahcoustix and his band Dubios Neighbourhood have their new album Grounded ready for release in Summer 2007. After 150 successful shows all over Europe (incl. Montreux Jazz Festival or Portugal’s Sudoeste Festival) during the last 18 months the new album finds the fans ready and waiting.

The 14 new tracks feature classic reggae tracks in a range from Rub a Dub like “Hot Stone” to uptempo Steppper like “On The Way”. This musical reggae backbone features the brilliant Dubios Neighbourhood band and captures their great performance which is so well known from the live shows.

The album also consists of solo acoustic tracks like the first single “Somebody” and  features additionally various tracks in a downbeat / trip hop style like “Truth Behind It All”. The production of those Downbeat / Trip Hop was handled by Peter Hoppe who is well known for his work for groups like Boozoo Bajou, Trio Eletrico or Trinah. The Californian reggae producer legend Jim Fox took care of the reggae tracks, mixed the whole album and did an excellent job with the mastering of the whole album.

To bring the album closer to the people Jahcoustix & Dubios Neighbourhood will do an extended tour throughout the whole year 2007 all over the world incl. USA, UK, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. We are all looking forward to that.
