“Keep Reachin’ Up” by Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators was one of the word-of mouth successes of 2006. Its perfect combination of Willis’ catchy Motown inspired song-writing and the Soul Investigator’s authentic heavy-funk sound was a match made in heaven at a time when Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson were yet to ride to success on a rhythm track provided by friends The Daptones.

ENERGY. MC's need it too. They don't just sit and chat. They spit. They perform. And AC and Terra rip apart platinum heavy tracks like tissue paper. This is rowdy dangerous rude boi energy. If this album was a dance move it'd be the krumper's trademark 'beasty'.

Paêbirú is an obscure Brazilian psych concept album about the four elements (earth, air, fire, water) which got ruined in a warehouse fire back in 1974, causing it to become a massively sought-after (lost) classic, which fetched up to £3,000 for a vinyl copy.
