Galactic - From The Corner To The Block LP [Galactic]It's been a while since I've done any reviews and I'm a bit later off the mark with this one - the release date was 10th March, almost a week ago as I write this. However, it's been on loop on my MP3 player ever since I was sent it for review so I felt I could hardly pass by the opportunity to sing the praises of what is definitely one of the best CDs I've been sent this year.

Mr Drastick - The Gladiator's Anthem CD [MDM]Mr Drastick does it proper. He’s been building a rep on the scene for quite a while now and any UK heads who aren’t aware of him should bow their heads in shame and quit playin... Fans of Mr Drastick will not be disappointed by ‘The Gladiator’s Anthem’. We’re in the head of a gladiator who has the aspirations of an emperor. It’s not particularly colourful or funky.

Con?iracy - Tour Of Duty CD [Cons?iracy]The intro to this album leaves me rather apprehensive. From the start we’re on the battlefield. Fighting for all the things Cons?iracy stand for. By the time the disc stops spinning we haven’t really left it. However, Cons?iracy don’t limit us to one battle or field. We see the fight with many different reasons, intentions and actions. And so everything fits together without sounding too contrived or closed minded. Its life battle shown in an honest and effective light.
