Nicolay is best known as the producing half of The Foreign Exchange, whose debut album Connected made a huge impact. Since then, he has produced for Little Brother, Supastition, Masta Ace, Strange Fruit Project and Zion I, remixed tracks for Roy Ayers, Bob James, Candy Dulfer and many others and has now started his own label.

DJ Krush, was born in 1962 in Tokyo. After watching the film "Wild Style" in the early 80s, he was inspired, bought some turntables, and started to learn the art of turntablism. In 1987, along with DJs like DJ Muro, he formed the Krush Posse, which made numerous appearances as a group in late 1992 and gained him recognition by becoming the first DJ in Japan to perform with live musicians.

Accomplished Hip Hop don of the decks, DJ Vadim, presented his new live show to an appreciative Rhythm Factory last Thursday. It was very big indeed. Entitled 'Soundcatcher Live' it featured One Self cohort Yarah Bravo and Belleruche's Katherine De Boer - complemented by bongos for good measure. |

Kid Genius are an unsigned Hip Hop act from Brighton via Littlehampton. Originally comprising producer Naïve and rapper Dilla, the group are expanding into an impressive live act - bolstered by the line-up of ex-Ordinary Boys drummer Charlie Stanley and The Streets’ long time keyboardist Chris Brown. Now the group have released their six track demo which presents just a few of the original recordings made by Dilla and Naïve. |
