Seventeen tracks deep the So Solid crew member and well-respected actor Ashley Walters aka Asher D drops bombs with this new CD. Rather than going down the route of so many other UK rappers, Asher tells street stories and drops knowledge on inner-city Britain.

Spit 4 Da Kid smashes it once again, this time with Dipset’s UK signings S.A.S. This CD features twenty-six banging tracks from some of London’s heaviest ryhmers. Obviously S.A.S feature heavy with some excellent overseas collobo’s with the likes of Villan, Jae Millz, St. Laz and Grafh as well as some killer solo joints like the excellent ‘On Dem Roads’.

Wolftown really are the leading force in the UK for Hip-hop music. Without a doubt they do more work in one month than most UK labels do in a year! Now head-honcho’s Late & Tricksta are back with a mix hosted by non-other than Brooklyn ’s number one rhymer Papoose.

West Coast and Tupac Shakur fans should take note of this new label compilation by The Bay’s Assassin and 2Pac’s brother Mopreme Shakur. Featuring a string of legendary emcees from the West such as Rappin 4Tay, Thuglife, Gonzoe, South Central Cartel, Snoop, Bizzy Bone and Assassin himself, ‘Black & Brown’ really impresses.

Another banging Game mixtape this time from US DJ Korgee. You may know of Korgee from his excellent T.I mix entitled ‘Live From The Trap’, if not then maybe this is a good place to start. ‘Code Of the Streets’ is a new Game mixtape full of unheard tracks and spits, and really shows where The Game is right about now.

Anybody who managed to cop Vol.1 & 2 of ‘The Way He Wanted It’ will know how good this series is. Put together by Assassin this has to be the best volume so far, with awesome collaborations. Outstanding production and above all a CD that if Tupac was alive he would be proud of. Real ‘2Pac’ fans should really get up on this album if they haven’t already.

This rare underground album from urban music’s new voice is in my opinion the best Akon CD out there to buy. Miami’s Rick Ross jumps up on ‘Cross The Line’ the opening track to great effect. Akon’s down to earth lyrics keep the album gully throughout but his smooth vocal tones inject soul too giving us the best of both worlds.

On the verge of dropping his long awaited long player, I was able to catch up with the former planetary Nomadic P. Aside form discussing his new album he talked about life and his passion for the game in this cohesive interview. So pull up a chair grab a bag of your favourite eats as one of London’s finest drops jewels for the heads.

Last night Cung Le knocked out Tony Fryklund in a masterful display of Martial skill. The HP Pavillion blazed with excitement as Cung Le who entered the cage to Boom Di Boom Di by South Korean Reggae artist Skull, systematically dismantled his opponent with a dazzling exhibition of picture perfect spin kicks, boxing acumen and defensive skill many have likened to watching Enter The Dragon.
