DJ Doc Rok is a hip hop / house / pop producer and DJ currently residing in Washington. At only 22, he has gained international notoriety for his consistent remixes which have spanned everything: from Jay-Z and Led Zeppelin to M.I.A. and Ludacris; from Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne to Marvin Gaye and the Nine Inch Nails.

I went all verbose and waxed lyrical about 209’s first releases and this one is no different. After another gap, Leicester’s hardest beat maker returns with a cross-Atlantic hook up. For this release he has teamed up with one of Queensbridge’s finest - Imam Thug.

Ventriloquist is poet and producer Chris Redmond. His style utilises a spoken word style which is great for telling stories. Now for this release he has the backing of a six piece live band whose members are made up from Nostalgia 77, Heritage Orchestra and Examples Of Twelves.

Catskills release the third album from Black Grass simply entitled ‘Three’. The project of DJ / producer Mex, Black Grass involves a floating cast of guests including hip hop legend J-Live, vocalist Dionne Charles from funk sensations Baby Charles, Hearin’ Aid’s Aaron Phiri, reggae representation by Benjammin’ and Jah Marnyah, along with many more talented contributors.
