Guilty Simpson is one of the most creative MCs of his generation with lyrics that range from the street inspired tales to side-splitting humor. He is a rock of the Detroit Hip-Hop scene that has collaborated with everyone from Eminem, D12, Slum Village, Black Milk and of course J-Dilla. A massive presence on stage both physically and musically read on to find out what he had to say to Max Weldon.

Paul White is one of the new breed of beat makers for whom there are very few boundaries. His debut album “The Strange Dreams of Paul White” is set to become a classic with its soundscape encompassing everything from soundtracks to prog-rock with a big dose of leftfield Hip-Hop. Max Weldon caught up with the man for a few words to find out whats up.

A hip-hop fund raising event has been planned for Thursday July 30th from 8.30pm to 2am at The Kursaal Function Suite, Southend-on-sea, Essex. All profits made on the night will go direct to registered charity Gua Africa towards the building of an academy for children affected by war and poverty in Sudan and Kenya.

Panjabi MC was the first Asian artist to take Bhangra to the next level, thus gaining him an award at the World Music Festival in Monte Carlo. The success of Mundian To Bach Ke was taken to another level when Jay Z featured on the record and rapped two verses. This led to a white label craze and artists such as BabySham, Twista and Beanie Man all wanted to be a part of the Bhangra sound.

The Game will play Hammersmith Apollo on Friday 17th July as part of his LAX World Tour. With two albums that debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart and two Grammy nominations, The Game is the driving force in keeping the West Coast hip hop scene in the mainstream.

The seventh child of the Jackson family, Micheal debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums are among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

Slum Village affiliate Black Milk from Detroit dropped his Tronic LP last year. He has worked closely with people like elZhi and rhymes as a member of the group Random Axe with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson.
