Anyone who knows anything knows that the Hot Natured party at the W Hotel in Barcelona was held on Friday 18th June. With guest list only entry, people were frantically emailing any address that they thought might gain them entry into the party. Sometimes a number of times to see if they could increase their chances of getting in… And it was well worth it.
The British Music Experience (BME) at The 02 provided the perfect sense of intimacy for the select audience who attended the showcase and Q&A with internationally renowned British hip hop artist Ty. The night not only celebrated the release of the rapper’s forthcoming single ‘Heart is Breaking’ featuring Sway from his hotly acclaimed album, ‘Special Kind of Fool’, but for the entire month of June the BME will be exhibiting the exquisite Ty sculpture by Ben Wachenje as featured on the album cover.
Taking Nowhere, Somewhere is the debut LP from the Philadelphia beat-smith Cimer Amor that is scheduled for release on June 29th through Coalmine Records. Cimer, who represents one half of the CAEN Project, has been the boardsman behind several underground, indie smash singles over the years that have charted very high through U.S. college radio hip-hop charts such as RapAttackLives.com & Rap Network Record Breakers.
This one looks MINT! Ok people, dont sleep. Heres one of the best nights Ive seen in London for a long time. The Roxe Foundation is a voluntary community organisation which was established in memory of the inspiring young graffiti artist, Bill Lockwood; AKA, Roxe. Since his death the foundation has worked very hard to support young graffiti artists and to promote the art-form as a positive contribution to the cityscape of Cardiff.
