British rapper and lyricist Ghost 67 began writing spoken word at the tender age of sixteen until he heard Mark B & Blade's album The Unknown. It was this slice of UK Hip-Hop history that really got Ghost67 writing and recording tracks and freestyles. Ghost67 swore he would track down Blade as he wanted to show him his bars and his flow, as well as taking on board any advice that this experienced UK veteran could give.

Educated at Eton and Oxford, James Palumbo began his professional career in the world of finance. In 1991 he co-founded the iconic London nightclub Ministry of Sound which is now a global, multi-media business and the largest independent record company in the world. Tancredi is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to James Palumbo's critically acclaimed debut novel, Tomas (2009).

For those of you who don't know about Northwest London emcee AC you really do need to get switched on to this incredibly dedicated and passionate artist. This new five track EP from AC is the official prelude to his brand new album 'Keep It Together' which is currently just getting the finishing touches and is due out soon. It sees AC team up with producer Deadman Walkn who gives up four brilliant beats and who has worked with the likes of Genesis Elijah, Wordsmiff, Terra Slim.

Norman Cook was originally known as being the bassist for the House Martins, but was also instrumental in the development of UK Hip Hop as the man behind Beats International and with his seminal DJ Mix The Finest Ingredients it was possible to see how his music career would develop. Re-incarnated as Fatboy Slim, Norman Cook has become a mega-star DJ known around the world. We caught up with him at the Boardmasters Festival, so read on to find out what he had to say...

Alongside his brother Malice, the pair have clocked up numerous hit singles (Grindin, When The Last Time), high profile features (Justin Timberlake, Neptunes) and a couple of critically acclaimed albums.

Supar Novar has been a prominent figure in UK Hip-Hop for over a decade. He was a member of the legendary rap group The Mud Family and has released music on Kemet Entertainment Records (Klashnekoff), Self Destruct Music (Skinnyman), PM Muzik (Mud Family), Wolftown Recordings (LATE), UK Runnings (Tricksta) and more, as well as sharing stages with Ghostface Killa from Wu-Tang Clan, M.O.P, The Clipse and DJ Premier.

DJ Shadow has a new full length album out in October on Island records. Its called The Less You Know The Better. The first singles were I Gotta Rock and I'm Excited which features Afrikan Boy and the LP will also feature Tom Vek, Little Dragon and Talib Kweli.
