Fusing live instruments with samples, breaks and Secondson's extensive synth collection, this project was created for a film soundtrack, and has only seen the light of day thanks to the kind folks at the production house (Peace Attack Records) that commissioned the work. You know Secondson has been doing this for years and so has the skills to put together a quality soundscape.

French-born and London-bred, The Spectre has been making hip hop music since he was 14. A prominent lyricist, and the producer of most of his beats, he grew up on bands like Eminem and Wu-Tang, wordsmiths who recognised the importance of lyricism in their raps. The Spectre isn't about guns and drive-bys, but rather introspection, relationships and domestic hardships. Who said hip-hop had to be all "bling bling" anyway?

LoopholeUK are the production duo of Andy Price and Robin Golding. Coming out of one of the more laid-back cities in the UK - Bristol, LoopholeUK's vibe is more relaxed, with the emphasis on chilled beats and laid back downtempo Hip-hop. Through collaborations and remixes LoopholeUK's aim is simply to put out as much good music as possible through mediums such as SoundCloud and BandCamp.

New Yorker Fresh Island; the groundbreaking Croatian hip hop festival, saw a record 20,000 fans flock to the tiny and unspoiled Zrce beach as a heavyweight line up of international artists took to the custom-built seafront stage. The three day event kicked off in style on Wednesday 23rd July with a headline performance from legend Rick Ross - as well as a night of global DJ crews including DJ Tim Westwood (UK), DJ Katch (DE), Lil Dirty (AUT), DJ Smoke Dogg (AUT), DJ Maxx (DE), DJ Jayceeoh (USA), Chris Stallion (NOR), Latin Prince (USA) and Patski Love (NOR).

Kay-Dee Records, the online store and label owned and operated by Kenny Dope, takes things to the next level with the debut of its "Book Series". Kenny's vision for Kay-Dee's first book was to create a premium set with a mix of well-known and never-before-seen "Wild Style" photos, in addition to liner notes detailing the stories behind the music of one of his favorite films.
