Two years since his eighth album ‘Light Work‘ dropped back in 2020, Fliptrix returns with ‘Mantra No. 9‘. A sweeping commentary of life and beyond; as Fliptrix endeavours to make sense of both the micro and the macro by getting fully in-and-amongst it.
Mantra No. 9 does many things. At the very top of the list, it sees Fliptrix return to the more foundational sounds that shaped his output across the earlier years, and in doing so, offers up the perfect opportunity to showcase his evolution as an artist; inviting the listener into a brand new chapter, in both life and music.

To mark the release of ‘Mantra No. 9’ High Focus launched a super limited 7″ pressing of ‘Mantra No. 9’ and accompanying AA-side ‘Eden‘ (Prod. Illinformed).
Pressed on ECO-MIX wax, a sustainable process that guarantees no two vinyls are the same, the hand numbered offering sees Fliptrix reconnect with the classic sonics that defined his earlier output, and after many experimental chapters over the years, it is both a refreshing revisit and welcome return.
‘Eden’ is equally testament to this; an ode to Fliptrix’s new life surroundings and his interconnectedness to them and beyond.
