Who would have expected, the return of Roots Manuva? He’s back with the aptly titled So Jazzy a gentle production full of trumpets and double bass. A slight change in style, his voice also is a bit cleaner. In the chorus Rodney Smith pays homage to Jazzie B. Rhymes are made overt in part due to special emphasis and pronunciation exaggerated by Root’s unique style.
The stop motion animation of dolls by Coco Padovani is also dope as hell.
