Today, North-London native BenjiFlow returns with ‘Ready‘, the next instalment from his upcoming EP, The Thrill, due for release on January 28th. The track weaves BenjiFlow’s smooth vocal tones through an illustrious tapestry of live instrumentation and rhythmic elements.

Gentle keys and perfectly balanced harmonics drift through the arrangement with ease, backed by the irresistible afrobeat drum programming courtesy of British-Ghanian artist Juls, one of the pioneering producers of African music in the diaspora.

‘Ready’ follows the release of prior singles ‘My Bella‘ and ‘GO‘ which were championed by the likes of GRM Daily, DUMMY, High Snobiety and Notion. All three tracks are to be featured on the highly anticipated eight-track project titled The Thrill. Ambitious and exhilarating, this multidimensional body of work serves to demonstrate his incredible musical versatility once more. BenjiFlow’s ability to effortlessly combine UK R&B, Afro-Cuban rhythms, West African pop and sounds of South America into a melting pot of intricate sounds and emotions is truly remarkable.

The aforementioned tracks ‘My Bella’ and ‘GO’ have since been enhanced by a visual accompaniment. Both music videos were seamlessly filmed in one take, a clever artistic choice that serves to express the smooth flow of BenjiFlows music through a cinematic lens.

Most recently BenjiFlow brought in the holidays with a joyful and intimate rendition of his previous track “My Bella“, a close-quarters live-session to round off the last year with unending positivity.

‘Ready’ follows BenjiFlow’s 2020 acclaimed debut EP BENERGY which has over 6 million streams and features the singles ‘Jolene‘, ‘Can’t Lose‘ and ‘Deep End‘, which was playlisted at BBC 1Xtra alongside impressive support from Beats 1, BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Dummy, HungerTV, in addition to becoming Radioactive Record of the Week. 2019 also saw BenjiFlow asked to be the first artist to make an appearance on Boiler Room’s ‘ENERGY’ series.

BenjiFlow continues to prove why he’s one of the most compelling up and coming artists in the UK at the moment with ‘Ready’. 2022 is set to be another breakout year for the rising talent.
