Spring Hollow are an emo, pop-punk duo. Their musical influences include Machine Gun Kelly, Iann Dior, Sueco, Internet Money and The Kid Laroi, although their sound is a bit more alternative and has hip-hop elements.
“He Said She Said” was written for anyone going into the summer after a major breakup. The message conveyed through this song is that there is life after toxic relationships. Life is only good or bad if you make it to be, so live to the fullest.
Everyone has gone through a breakup where they don’t see a life without the person they are no longer with, and that’s what makes this track so relatable. This song is for anyone who has ended a toxic relationship, and needs a summer pick me up.
There is a music video to accompany ‘He Said She Said’ and Eli Strobeck is responsible for the song’s final master and production. However, Nick and Colton mix and master a majority of their songs on their own, and record in house.
Spring Hollow prefers to have the beat down and the song written before they start the vocals. They write and record all their music, and the only person they outsource to is Eli Strobeck. They would love to collaborate with other artists; some of their favourite pop punk artists are: Machine Gun Kelly, Sueco, Travis Barker, Jxdn, Iann Dior, The Kid Laroi, Bankrol Hayden and Dro Kenji. Juice WRLD has also been a huge influence for them as he paved the way for emo hip-hop.
Spring Hollow is active on social media as it is a fast way for them to grow and reach audiences that it would take years of traveling to reach. They also love to perform and some of their favorite places to perform are Tailgators Jacksonville and Archetype Jacksonville in Florida, as well as Leftys Live Music Des Moines and Gabes Iowa City in Iowa.
The duo is thankful to everyone who has supported them and their projects over the years. Their EP ‘Life Like A Move’ was released on August 21, 2021 and is available on all streaming platforms. Every single share, comment, like and stream means the world to them and they’re beyond grateful.
