Planet AsiaPlanet Asia is well known throughout the hip-hop community. As one half of the duo Cali Agents (Planet Asia & Rasco), he has been tearing up airwaves and stages around the globe. Numerous banging 12-inch single releases such as Place of Birth (ABB 1999), Pure Coke (Interscope 2002), and The Golden Age (Threshold 2003) to name a few, ensured his place in hip-hop history.

The Source Magazine named him "First Round Draft Pick" and gave him Independent Album of the Year credit for How The West Was One by the Cali Agents for the year 2000. Planet Asia was even nominated for a 2002 Grammy Award for his collaboration with hip-hop diva Mystic on “W”.

Planet AsiaEven multi-platinum selling rock super group Linkin Park called upon Planet Asia for his vocal skills for their highly successful “Re-Animation” LP on the song “Ppr:Kut”. Asia also has collaborations with everyone from Black Thought of The Roots, BT, the Dub Pistols, Talib Kweli, & Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan.

Early 2004 saw the release of Planet Asia’s debut LP The Grand Opening to much acclaim and fanfare, securing another Independent Album of the Year credit in The Source Magazine. He founded Gold Chain Music with Walt Liquor and took the show on the road with the sold-out Gold Chain Music Tour Europe in November 2004.

In 2006 Planet Asia continued his well received work and had one of his most productive years to date releasing a trilogy of records which have featured masses of big name artists.

The trilogy looks at the problem in part one. In the second part he identifies the solutions and in the final chapter delivers the answer. This is some of Planet's best work to date and has won him further plaudits.

Be sure to keep you eyes peeled for Planet Asia in 2007.
