Anna Nathanson in the first of her video interviews meets Raekwon of the Wu Tang to talk about his new album, the group’s rise to fame in the early 1990s and hip hop today. The new album, Only Built For Cuban Linx 2, is out September 8 2009.
Raekwon was born in Brooklyn, New York, but moved to Staten Island’s Park Hill projects at an early age. He joined the Wu-Tang Clan in time to participate on Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, the group’s massively successful debut.
