"The music is best described as the future of Midwest hip-hop, where we integrate different styles from some of the best that we've admired over the years", explains Tizzle. "We are young and fresh on the scene with a story to deliver to the masses", adds Streetz.
The duo has been performing together since they were teenagers. Tizzle (Toney Campbell) and Streetz (Lance Lucas) have traveled to Miami and worked with Grammy-award winning producer / rapper Wyclef Jean while performing at various showcases and festivals throughout the South, East Coast and Midwest as well as creating mixtapes building a buzz in the Dirty South. Recently they performed twice to huge crowds at Chicago's Puerto Rican Festival (second largest to New York City celebration and largest in the Midwest) the Global Mixx stage and the Chevy Stage.
"We're excited to have a group of this caliber as our first main release under the label banner. Radio executive would be foolish not to jump on this record", states BMI-award winning producer and label president, R.K. Jackson.
The 4 song EP will be available on I-Tunes, Yahoo Music, Rhapsody, MSN, E-Connect, Liquid Audio, Napster, E-music and Amazon.com and wherever digital downloads are sold. The tracks on their Heat City / Warner Music Group debut EP include "What U On", "In Da Trunk", "So Fine" and the radio hit, "Leanin 2 Da Side". The video for "Leanin 2 Da Side" will be shot in Chicago on October 25, 2008. This dynamic duo is also in the process of recording more songs to complete their forthcoming full-length CD to be released later this year. For more information on Tizzle and Streetz visit:
