Sold Out Beatbox Choir Concert Will Be Projected Free Of Charge - ShlomoShlomo and the Vocal Orchestra’, the world’s first ever human beatboxing choir, will be making their debut to a sell-out crowd at London’s Purcell Room on March 18th 2007.

The concert, which is the grand finale of the day-long International Beatbox Convention taking place at Southbank centre, sold out within days of going on sale. However, the concert will be projected live into the Front Room at the QEH, with free admission to the public.

International beatbox artists from as far away as the USA, Australia and Eastern Europe have booked their slot to perform at the event during the afternoon, when a host of free showcases, workshops, talks, seminars, film screenings and interactive stands will be taking place.

Many were disappointed to hear that they were too late to get tickets to the ground breaking-closing concert, which features support slots from UK Beatbox Champion Beardyman, World Team Champions Roxorloops and top female beatbox artist Bellatrix.

“I am very relieved that I will still get to witness the grand finale”, says Germany’s Bee Low, an international beatbox artist and organiser of the World Beatbox Championships, “now we can watch live from the foyer, and the party can continue all evening!”
