Busta’s performance at the UK’s hottest basketball event will follow on from last year’s incredible show from R n’ B sensation Chris Brown. Busta’s performance is sure to top that and add to a charged evening of entertainment, music and special guests: including NBA star Luol Deng and slam dunking action from the best ‘ballers in the UK.
At the heart of MM is a quest to find the next Luol Deng, the next hidden gem in UK basketball. This year, Nike has asked Britain’s ‘ballers to ‘Prove It’ - prove their commitment, desire, skill and dedication to the game that they love. The ‘baller who shows that desire and ‘wins’ the Midnight Madness Under 21 competition will be flown out to the US to train with NBA superstar Luol Deng and spend a week in his company seeing what it takes to reach the pinnacle of the sport.
Tickets to the Nike Midnight Madness event range from £5 - £15 and are available from www.midnight-madness.com
Later on this year, Busta Rhymes will also perform in an all-star supergig at the Royal Albert Hall on 26th September for unique music-led volunteer programme, Orange RockCorps. Fans cannot buy or win a ticket - they can only earn a ticket by taking part in one of 60 four-hour community projects across the UK. www.orangerockcorps.co.uk
