London Urban Collective Vol. 2 [Freeport]The acclaimed youth music project London Urban Collective resurfaces for its third year running with another unique showcase of new British Hip Hop, supported by Arts Council England, The Prince’s Trust, Jack Petchey Foundation and local London authorities.
The Album

The album was recorded in London by Jay King (Procryptix, Jonny Deepa) and Resin (Spa Cru, LUC II) and mixed in Atlanta by Karl Helibron (TLC, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, 2Pac Shakur, Keith Sweat, Jermaine Dupri).

London Urban Collective Vol. 2 [Freeport]Guest artists include Malachi of The Dungeon Family (Outkast / Cee Low Geen), Kele Le Roc, James Pyke (Channel4’s “Whatever”) and guitars from Massimo Fiocco (One Minute Silence).

The Music

The acclaimed London Urban Collective always attract A list guests to collaborate on their albums and this one is no exception with Kele Le Roc, and Malachi from The Dungeon Family just two of the major talents featured here. The album soaks up the streets of London’s raw Hip Hop / Grime anger, futility and resentment but delivers it with the bass thumping heavy southern sound that only Atlanta can bring.
