Apples & Snakes, England's leading organiser of performance poetry, presents a night of dynamic, accessible hip-hop poetry on Friday 16th March 2007. Californian hip hop poet Metis contemplates issues of race and identity through his passionate and fiery delivery whilst fusion artist Sean Graham weaves words with dance to create stories rich in everyday detail.
The night will present a night of rhythm and rhyme at The Albany, Deptford. In addition to the aforementioned acts the night will also showcase Joshua Idehen as the host.

In addition to the two featured acts there will also be open mic slots up for grabs on the night. Local writing groups and youth clubs have been invited to perform.
