Big Tex is the third member of the group often called the glue. In a time when mostly all of the music on urban radio sounds the same, Crimeline is still able to bring a fresh sound that moves and motivates the hood and the suburbs. The Virginia music scene is likely to be the next big movement in hip-hop, and Crimeline has a sound that most feel is the true Va. sound.
Moving numerous mixtapes and street released LP's Crimeline has been able to keep their music fresh on the mind, and heart's of their fans. The group is finishing up their fifth street released album (yet to be titled), set to be released in the late summer. Past releases include "True Kings Of The South" (2500 copies), "Live From The Crime Scene" (2000 copies), "Criminology" (4700 copies), and "Buck Music Radio: Last of the Realest" (5000 copies).
With production from a host of soon to be superstar producers such as Team Trilogy, Rio tha Producer and Dub tha Green Giant (T.I, Fantasia, Bohagan and Dem Franchise Boys), M.Haffa, Desperados (Lloyd Banks, Bonecrusher, and Famlay), and M-millz (Serius Jones) serving as the architects of their distinct sound, Crimeline is sure to have staying power in the game.
"But real talk homeboy I know you gotta grind that is why we stopped shopping our shit and just prepared to release this Dope!", Grandson declares. "Cause all A&R's do now is look for sure shots,they don't have time or money to waste trying to make an artist, that is why we aint stopping".
The single "Chain Swangin" featuring Ray Cash has been building a strong buzz for the group, and is being added to mixtapes and mixshows nationwide. Crimeline is looking forward to doing some touring this summer this summer to support the album. Crimeline has performed with or either colaborated with artist such as DJ K Slay, Quan, Kanye West, Rell, Allen Anthony, B Rich, Consequense and many more.
