Big TedThink deep concentration, combined with phat beats and rhymes. There isn't an artist in the game that this DJ hasn't pushed at some time or another. He’s been a backbone and nurtured the game from behind the scenes and has never turned his back on it.

Rewd AdamsSkandal made a big splash at the beginning of last year with his debut Project A and Hunger Pains. But true creativity is all about re-birth and re-invention and so Skandal has metamorphosed into Rewd Adams and is back with a new LP Rewd Awakening. Read on to find out what has changed since Britishhiphop.co.uk last spoke to Rewd Adams.

Genesis ElijahAfter a brief exodus from the scene, a chance phone call from 1 Step of the Krate Krusaders and a collaboration project later, Genesis Elijah was officially back on the UK hip hop landscape. ‘Before I Was Famous’ delves beyond the music and talks about the day to day struggles of life, set against old skool UK hip hop beats. I waxed lyrical with Genesis about his partnering with the Plymouth duo and all things Brit hip hop.

B. McCoyB. McCoy (Brandon Cassidy McCoy) a Southside Chicago native is the top of his age bracket. As an artist with a will to compete, grow, and financially expand, he plans to change the minds of those who say HIP HOP is DEAD. From the streets of Chicago and valleys of Cali he plans to take over and SHOW EVERYBODY HOW IT’S DONE.

Lost Children Of BabylonIf you are following the current underground Hip Hop scene you should have come across The Lost Children Of Babylon. The legacy goes back to Jedi Mind Tricks’ first single, The Amber Probe in 1995, and they have been building, steadily releasing albums both as a group and solo projects, all of which explore new and interesting lyrical themes.

The DubberThe word Dub means to redo or rework; it is something one does when it is necessary to make alterations. This is what Breath a.k.a The Dubber has been doing since the age of thirteen. For over two decades the Washington, DC native has played guitar and encompasses the sounds of funk, rock, reggae, go-go and hip-hop to create a unique musical stew, all his own. Nikhil Sharma caught up with him to find out more.

Affyzzle And Triple SFor 23 year-old James “Affyzzle” Affolaby and Stephen “Triple S” N’guessan, Hip-Hop has always been more than just Music; it’s a culture, a lifestyle, an everyday hustle. When they first met at the end of the 90’s back in their home country (Ivory Coast, West Africa), they were just young High School students with a common passion for the art of rhyming. Since then they have made a lot of progress moving to the US and linking with some big names. Danielle chatted with them to find out more.

LMNZLMNZ’s album ‘Worldwide Rap’ a phenomenal achievement. With 76 artists and 29 languages this album is not a simple mixtape, but the physical manifestation of real Hip Hop culture as rap music. What I mean by this is: LMNZ has tapped into the true zeitgeist of what this culture is about, international cooperation. IBMCs is proud to get the interview with this intelligent and cool individual.

London ZooSince their first release was played on John Peel’s show the North West London collective London Zoo have worked with Dubbledge, Foreign Beggars, Stig of the Dump, and more. They now have their Brainstorm LP out and Danielle caught up with them to find out more…
