2 Many DJ's And Foals Will Play FIB Heinieken Festival 09The FIB Heineken festival just keeps on getting better and better... Selecting only the very best bands in the world, the folks at Benicássim are now proud to announce that the latest additions to their already first-rate line up are - 2 Many DJ's and Foals.

2 Many DJ's are a musical phenomenon. Also known as Soulwax and the Dewaele Brothers, their mix of big bass lines and Belgian beats will be a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Adding a touch of indie rock, dance punk and minimal techno are the UK’s very own Foals. Responsible for the 5th best album of 2008 according to NME, the Oxford quintet have promised a performance to remember.

Other recent additions to the line up include Cooper (Spain), Giant Sand (USA), Television Personalities (UK), La Bien Querida (Spain), Christina Rosenvinge (Spain), Justus Köhncke (Germany), Fangoria (Spain), Oblique (Spain) and The Unfinished Sympathy (Spain).

Not just a music festival, FIB Heineken are also delighted to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the FIB International Short Film Festival. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2009, it will take place before the festival kicks off, running from the 13th - 16th of July. For more information please visit:

Having already confirmed Oasis, Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Paul Weller, Lily Allen, Glasvegas, The Mystery Jets, Elbow, Maximo Park and The Horrors few would disagree that FIB Heineken is now one of the best festivals of 2009!

A phenomenal 50,000 people per day enjoyed FIB Heineken 2008 in the gorgeous Spanish sun and early indications suggest that this year (which sees the festival celebrating its 15th birthday), will be the best yet. Backed by the man behind The Hop Farm Festival and founder of the Mean Fiddler, Vince Power, it will take place from July 16th - 19th on the east coast of Spain.
