New Dom G Album Nicely Does It Out May 5thStraight out of London, Dom G aka Dominant G is not a new name in the Hip Hop world. His lyrical skills have been applauded by some of the biggest names in the industry including DJ 279 Choice FM, DJ Jenny Frances Choice FM, DJ Shortie Blitz & DJ MK Kiss FM, DJ Rass Kwame Radio One, DJ Green Peace and Tim Westwood Radio One, publications including Touch, Trace and DJ Magazine to name a few.

Dominating mics is something that many MCs never master but Dom G honed his craft at open-mic sessions in the well known London spot the Borderline which was hosted by Choice FM’s DJ 279.

From his small beginnings he hooked up with Joe, formerly known as Braintax, who signed him along with the well known producer Drew (Mercury nominee producer of Ty’s Upwards album) to Lowlife Records and released the ground breaking EP entitled ‘The Whole Circumference’.

Having firmly made a name for himself on the underground Dom G is about to unleash his second album entitled Nicely Does It. Dom expounds, “On this album I wanted to create more dimensions of sound, giving my listeners a much wider scope to a Dom G experience”.

On His first album Air Dom G received widespread praise from the mainstream music press and this album is set to follow the same trend. Tracks like Naomi, which features the soul-drenched vocals of Misha, embodies a different form of hip hop and delves deeper than the pimp and ho attitude so widely portrayed. It’s an urban poetic love tail of two hearts that ventured in and out of love... “I wanted to write something that would deeply penetrate the listeners’ heart”. Dom goes for the clubs with tracks such as “Give Me Something” this is definitely not for the novice club head. Nicely Does It is out May 5th 2010

“If Common had been born and raised in London Town rather than the Windy City of Chicago, chances are Dom G's "Air" is the album he would've made” - Ryan Proctor

“Dom all the while striking the right balance between passion and punchlines” - Touch Magazine
