The only B-Boy event to be based uniquely on the 8 beat of hip hop, Red Bull Beat Battle provides each crew with an 8 min mix tape, created by a hip hop master DJ and delivered in a retro boom box. Each crew then have only 8 weeks to choreograph and practice their routine in a bid to win the prestigious 2007 title and £8,000. The winning crew will also receive 8 exclusive solid silver ‘graff’ inspired pieces created by legendary graffiti artist Mare 139, who also has an exhibition of his most recent work at the event.
