Seeed Link With Kano And Sian Supa Crew
Seeed have numerous collaborations under their belt and this first single, from the new album ‘Next’, is no exception.  France’s first men of hip hop, Saian Supa Crew, leave their mark all over the latest single ‘Thing’, while on the other side, Kano drops two gritty laid back verses which act as a compliment to the laid back lyrics of the group.

The band’s fourth album, ‘Next’, also features the likes of Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-lo Green and Tanya Stephens and continues the groups mix of German, English and Patois language led reggae / dancehall.

Seeed - Thing / SlowlifeFounded in 1998 and gigging from early 1999, Seeed might be aptly described as a product of multi-ethnic, multi-lingual Berlin and the city’s burgeoning, club-based dancehall scene that came of age at around the same time. Much of the initial attention the eleven-piece unit managed to grab was down to the hyper-energy whipped up by the terrible threesome of emcees splitting vocal duties between them – Pierre Baigorry (a.k.a. Enuff, half-French), Frank Delle (a.k.a. Eased, half-Ghanaian) and Demba Nabe (a.k.a. Ear, half-Guinean).

Establishing themselves first as a live act with supporting slots for visiting Jamaican superstars like Buju Banton, Seeed have gone on to sell out stadiums in their home country of Germany, perform in front of crowds of 14,000, headline European festivals and perform at Glastonbury. They are one hyped up live act.

This latest single ‘Thing’ ft. Saian Supa Crew b/w ‘Slowlife’ ft. Kano which is released on 16th April on Germaican Records is a fantastic introduction to one of Germany’s best live acts, and which also demonstrates the versatility of this 11-piece group.
