Festival Stage One – a unique music and dance festival – will give over 1000 young people, aged 13-21, the chance to take part in auditions and workshops supported by professionals from the music industry – who will be seeking to discover the best young talent in the UK.
The festival, organised by youth work charity UK Youth and Pontin’s with supporters including Revolution Studios, Roland UK, Marshall and Pointe Blank, will take place from 24th-26th November. It will feature workshops, master classes and auditions for rock/pop bands aged 13-21 and dance groups between the ages of 13-19 to showcase their talent.
The auditions will run throughout the weekend to discover the best up and coming youth music and dance talent the UK has to offer. Participants will be able to meet professionals from across the industry to help develop their skills and make new contacts in the music and dance industries. Supported by Revolution Studios which has been run for over 30 years by Andy Macpherson, famous for his recordings with The Who, Eric Clapton, Deborah Harry and the Buzzcocks to name but a few, the festival will give young bands and acts the chance to get heard and seen by music industry experts.
