Wale To Play Three UK Shows Including London Date At XOYOWashington DC hip-hop artist Wale has emerged as a major new talent with the release of his second album Ambition. Having debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart and topped the iTunes album chart ahead of new albums from Justin Bieber and Florence and the Machine, Wale can now confirm details of three rare UK shows.

He will play these dates:

  • March - Venue - Box office number
  • 27th – London, XOYO - 020 7403 3331
  • 28th – Birmingham, HMV Institute Temple Room - 0844 248 5037
  • 29th – Manchester, Club Academy - 0161 832 1111

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday January 13th from http://www.gigsandtours.com / 0844 411 0051, priced at £12.50 for London and £11 for Birmingham and Manchester.

Ambition features appearances from Wale's Maybach Music Group brethren Rick Ross and Meek Mill as well as Kid Cudi, Big Sean and a host of R&B's finest including Ne-Yo, Jeremih, Miguel and Lloyd. Diplo and Lex Luger contribute to the album's soundscape amongst a handful of talented up-and-comers. Wale recently performed the album’s first single Lotus Flower Bomb on Jimmy Kimmel Live with the song’s guest artist Miguel.



Wale released his debut album Attention Deficit in 2009. The album featured an all-star cast of collaborators including producers Dave Sitek, Mark Ronson and The Neptunes, as well as guest artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Pharrell, Gucci Mane and J. Cole.
