LB is a new cat on the block to me. But regardless with bangers like this LB is set to become quite well known soon. This track is on an upbeat jump up vibe and LB has some quick fire flows to go along and this should go a long way to curing some of these winter blues.
DJ Samo is a party DJ from Cornwall in the South West, but is originally from Scarborough, who is well known for playing hype live sets. Recently he appears to have hooked up with MC Carpetface, but before that coming out on Aerosolik records DJ Samo has produced a couple of mix CDs which are hot to def. The first one which I peeped was See You After The Break which is 1 hour and a quarter of funky sounds.
Supanover has long been at the center of North London's Mud Family and has had a few heavy tracks out. Now he returns with a dark and moody black and white video for his When R They Gunna C? track which is available on Kemet Records. If you ain't heard of Supanover by now you are about to in a big way.
Task Force have to be one of the biggest UK groups out there with a large rep that s quite justified. For a few years now they have been trading their own path and this latest video is no different. Check out Farma and Chester as they dress all medieval and play the part of wandering minstrels.
Out of the wreckage of a broken junk-bot, emerges unscathed, Cool Calm Pete. One third of the underground outfit Babbletron, Calm Pete is the one whose words come slower. The precision of slow flow may be lost on some, but to the big brain females out there, here comes trouble. His new album, ‘Lost’ is going to ring bells like Bob James on the first four bars of ‘Mardi Gras’.

Emerging from upstate New York come the Gym Class Heroes, a four-piece indie/hip hop band. GCH use live instruments and musicians to create their unique sound (not looped samples and canned beats), fusing crisp guitar rhythms, deep melodic bass lines, head cracking beats, and conscious lyrics.
Not being a big fan of the Ruff Ryders click I am not sure whether this is a collection of old material or new unreleased stuff, or indeed a mixture of the two. This compilation, their first in three years, is obviously designed to ride on the back of the big Jin LP which recently dropped.
On this website Late and his villanous cohorts have have in the past received a fair amount of coverage. This is because they are hard working fellows and this is doubly demonstrated by their regular releases of new material, but also their regular mix CDs such Tricksta's UK Running series and this one.
