After a successful decade the B-Boy Championships are evolving, and new title sponsor, Sony Ericsson, are breakin’ the mould with new formats and features in this year’s line-up. For the first time in the Championship’s history, the UK eliminators, billed as Regional Conflict, will be held nationwide in May, allowing the best crews from around the country to test their skills against one another.

This jam is set to be Fresh Jive's biggest B-Boy (breakdance) battle EVER!!! So be sure to not miss this. On Sunday 13th May at Stylus, Leeds University the Northern heats of the UK B-Boy Championships will take place. There is eight crews minimum, with eight members in each crew. The Winners qualify to battle in London to represent the UK at the World finals.

It's that time again! The 2007 Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships kick off in May, and this year the stakes are high: the 2007 National Champion will be driving home in a brand new Vauxhall Corsa SXi!!

 

The Festival of Youth Arts (FYA) could not have come at a better time. With teenage crime making headlines all across the UK, the FYA Festival aims to dispel negative images and empower young people. The festival is an innovative project which pulls young people together to showcase their diverse creative skills.

In 2004 Jak Danielz teamed up with NYC graffiti legend and producer Johnny Walker (aka BL One - old school new york bombing graff legend from TMR crew, NYC) to form Cold Heat Entertainment. Since it's inception the Queens powerhouse has created a worldwide buzz through a blitz of mixtape, album and television appearences.

Copywrite is often regarded as one of the most dynamic lyricists on the underground scene. Smothering his lyrics with highly original metaphors and punchlines. Copywrite's debut, The High Exhaulted, was released in 2002 on the Eastern Conference record label. Copywrite's second release, Cruise Control Mixtape: Volume 1, was released on the O.D.O.T. record label in 2005.

"Untitled: An Exhibition of Original Skateboard Art", a group show featuring the work of nearly four-dozen artists, is now open to the public at the Eyejammie Fine Arts Gallery. The show which has been curated by Cey Adams, the legendary graphic designer who ran Def Jam's in-house design studio for 15 years.

Kano's long awaited new album London Town is scheduled to drop in late June / early July, and by all means Kano is set to come strong on this in an attempt to re-claim his crown.
