Jarel Worthington a.k.a. IllyRap is the owner of Illy Rap Recordings and a rapper in the F.A.M. crew. He is a songwriter and producer and made his radio debut with Stay Humble on 96.1 Kiss FM and has appeared on 88.7FM, The Edge. IllyRap has had his performance televised for Hot97's Spit Fire Live at Pseudo Stage Music and appears on numerous DJ Big Mike mixtapes.

‘Rukus’ has given us all a reason why he should be one of UK Hip Hop’s most prominent figures in the game. His first single ‘Let It Go’ notably broke the name ‘Rukus’ and therefore paved the way for him, in my opinion, to be one of the UK’s most successful up and coming artists.

The first thing I noticed – and loved, about this album is that you don’t get bored once. No skipping tracks or tuning out at all. Clearly influenced by the old school hip hop, straight out of Manchester, Motley and Hash Browne bring something fresh and inspiring to U.K. hip hop.

I can easily see several top, 30 year old producers lying awake at night with clenched fists as age and experience are ripped apart by pure natural youth genius. Clearly all those music degrees and years of building a solid rep aren’t really worth it when some young ambitious twat does a bit of a skip and jump and lands at exactly the same spot in no time.

What what people. It's been a bit more than a month since the last edition of the podcast... I've decided it's better to do things right than do them quickly. In future I'll be dropping these as and when I have the time and material to put together a properly good installment (which should still be fairly frequently).
