The Foreign Beggars have added another live date to their tour. They will be celebrating the release of their album 'Stray Point Agenda' with an album launch event at London's Scala on Wednesday 15th November featuring themselves live, with guests: OhNo (Stones Throw), Scratch Perverts, Roc C and many more!

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has extended its submission deadline, so if you haven't already entered, you still have a chance. If you already have entered and wish to submit additional songs, you can still enter. All entries must be posted on or before November 17, 2006. ISC will continue to take online entries, as well as entries through the mail; the online submission platform will be open until 11:59 p.m. EST, November 17. There will be no further extensions of the deadline after this date.

UK based media company Fame TV Ltd (http://www.fametv.com) is launching the UK's first user generated TV channel on 6 November, 2006. Hailing from Miami Beach, comes ¡Mayday! the alt-rap duo and brainchild of Plex, a Miami DJ / producer, and  MC Bernbiz, a local MC hero, among the Miami club circuit. Plex and Bernbiz who have shared the stage with The Roots, Method Man, Red Man, Mos Def, and too many others to name… are finally here to bring us ¡Mayday! and raise some hell.

In partnership with the Roundhouse Summer programme, this youth poetry slam – with MC Nii Ayikwei Parkes – will engage young people and the wider in creating innovating forms of poetry. The theme will be Black Histories. Contestants will work on there entries throughout the summer and will perform their final pieces at the poetry slam held at the Roundhouse. Mr Lif returns to the UK this month with a headline date @ Jazz Cafe on 21st October. A European tour (full details below) comes to the UK on 19th October and takes in Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds and Bristol.
